As education sector continue to grow, many institutions are coming up to cater for the needs of the growing number of students. It’s due to this reason that the number of universities in Nairobi have increased.

The education sector has improved and the number of institutions of higher learning has been increasing day by day.

Kenyatta University

Jomo Kenyatta University

JKUAT is also a public university situated northeast of Nairobi. The university offers courses in technology, engineering, science, architecture and building sciences.

Jomo Kenyatta University also has a great interest in the areas of biotechnology and engineering.
